Connie Corley, MSW, MA, Ph.D. has a long history in the fields of gerontology/geriatrics as a graduate of University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She leads the doctoral concentration in Creative Longevity and Wisdom in the School of Leadership Studies at Fielding Graduate University and is Professor Emeritus at California State University, Los Angeles. A Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America and Academy of Gerontology in Higher Education, Dr. Corley has engaged in multiple programs as a mentor and leader in curriculum development. She co-founded and directed a lifelong learning program in Los Angeles for over 10 years. Recent work involves creativity in later life (emerging out of a national study of Holocaust survivors) and intergenerational/intercultural mutual mentoring. She created a podcast, LOVE GOES VIRAL, to offer support during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond and was co-host/producer of EXPERIENCE TALKS on Pacifica station KPFK-FM in Los Angeles for over a decade. Cal State LA named Dr. Corley a Distinguished Woman in 2008. She is in “Who’s Who in America” and “Who’s Who of American Women.”
